thrifting finds: 08.20.11

i hit 77 north this past saturday to visit Value Village in Mooresville… every now and then i get an itch to see what might be hiding around the piles of weirdness… i tired on a lot {including a vintage PORTS knit skirt, sadly it didn’t sit right on these hips!} and found a few cute things worth bringing home…

one: this not at all tarnished gold wrap bracelet… {$.80 cents}

two: i’m loving oversized blouses lately, and this striped one is just what i needed to get ready for fall… {and what a great vintage print!} you can’t go wrong with black and white. {$3.50}

three: another fall find… a sweet navy knitted capelet & i think it’s hand made. i’m loving the equestrian buttons and fringe… come on fall weather! {$5.50}

i may have spent more on my high octane gas than what i actually puchased but, it was fun. sometimes you just need to get out of the house and go looking for trinkets and whatnot. be curious…
